MRU opens transit hub

Students hope more buses will alleviate commuting woes

Last thursday Nov. 29 Mount Royal University officially opened its "West Gate Transit Hub," a bus depot built with the City of Calgary. Officials say they hope the new hub will provide higher quality transit to students, while some students remain skeptical about the University's lack of access to a direct LRT line. The hub will provide a drop point for express-route buses added concurrently to the opening of the new West LRT line this month.
