The first annual Brick Roundup event was held at the Acadia Recreation Centre on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013. The event was hosted by the Southern Alberta Lego Users Group (SALUG,) an adult Lego fan group.
Brick Roundup is an annual showcase, featuring creative works built using Lego bricks by some of Calgary's top builders. The show featured hundreds of thousand of Lego bricks assembled into various creations ranging from spaceships to castles by almost 19 adult builders. The public was invited out to the event to see what the Lego fan community is all about.
