The TELUS Spark museum has one clear mission: make science fun for everyone. That is why they created Fiver Fridays at Spark, an exclusive, adults-only event, focused on bringing them closer to science.

Amy Xia, a member of the TELUS Spark communications team, strives on making the museum a good experience for everyone.

“At TELUS Spark we are very inclusive on what we offer,'' said Xia. “We like to make it fun and engaging for all of our visitors.”

Within the event, guests have the opportunity to do different activities that will give them the chance to view science from a new perspective.

“I really enjoyed the event because it gave me the chance to discover the science center as if I was a child again” said Gabrielle Dickson, a guest who experienced the event for the first time.

Calgary Journal videographer Santiago Trozzo went to the event on Sept. 20 and spoke with Xia in more detail.
