Hip-hop and funk dancers compete at One Touch 2012

Dancers walked through the doors of the University of Calgary's Alberta Room on Sat. Feb. 18 with one purpose — to compete at the One Touch 2012 event.

The annual one-on-one dance competition presented by the Hip Hop and Funk Styles Club and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Calgary and Area consisted of three categories: breaking, popping and locking.

Cole Derkson gets his wish after heart attack

Getting to go to Walt Disney World would sound like a pretty sweet deal to many kids. Going on that same trip with all expenses paid? Yes please.

For 13-year-old Cole Derkson, the Children's Wish Foundation – a non-profit organization that specializes in granting wishes – is turning the latter into reality.

Children's Wish is sending Cole and his family to Orlando, Florida on March 19.
