Alberta Culture Days has been celebrating arts and culture across the province every September for the past decade. However, this year’s festival, which ran from Sept. 28-30, had more to celebrate as the Lodgepole Center at the Alberta College of Art and Design (ACAD) participated in the weekend’s festivities for the very first time.

With the hustle and bustle of city life, it is often hard to remember to take time to get up from your desk and spend time outside.

After the devastating floods in 2013 across southern Alberta, many small towns were left with little visitors to the area.

A local business in the community of Bowness hosted its first ever birthday bash on Sep. 16, 2018. Bowest Motors, an automotive repair and maintenance shop, invited its customers and neighbours to enjoy live music, food truck eats and a classic car show to celebrate its 60th year of business.
