The second annual Celebrity Chef Showdown featured head chefs from the Brakemen Foundation and the Calgary Petroleum Club facing off in a live cooking competition on Jan. 28. Similar to an episode of MasterChef, the chefs have 45 minutes to cook a three-course meal for judges Dan Clapson, Jennifer Hamilton, and Rob Cote. The lively and interactive audience enjoyed watching and talking with the chefs as they created their meals before the clock stopped. The showdown, held at the Calgary Petroleum Club, raised approximately $5,000 for the organization Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Kids.
