Canada wins the gold! The Brier curling tournament has come to an end with gold glory for the Canadian team against the last game against Northern Ontario, with a close final score of 6-5.
People came from all over Canada to watch the 2015 Tim Hortons Brier curling tournament in Calgary. During warm-ups fans line the boards clutching tickets, hats and flags, hoping for signatures from their favourite players.
With as many as four matches going on at once at the Saddledome, there is a lot to see and hear. Though the vast arena is usually quiet, a good throw triggers cheers from fans of all ages, and in various levels of colourful fan gear.
Record attendance was over 281,000 people in Edmonton in 2005.
