Hundreds of Calgarians protest at UCP's annual general meeting
Calgarians made their frustrations known during a protest at the UCP's first annual general meeting on Nov. 30. A crowd of Alberta unions, nurses, teachers and other supporters gathered outside the Westin Hotel in opposition of the party's cuts to the province's public sector, which will include the loss of 750 nursing positions and 300 teachers.
