Calgary hosted the Burton Canadian Open, a half-pipe and slopestyle competition welcoming amateur riders from across the globe.
The event had over 60 men in slopestyle who were trying out for a spot in the finals. Some competitors were as young as 13.
Braden Maillot saw all the action and says Calgary is a great place for competitions like this.
“The pipe finals were unreal and the after party was unreal. They had (actors from) Fubar and a few other local celebrities,” Maillot said.
