As part of the Community-Centred Journalism course led by Prof. Gabriela Perdomo, students at Mount Royal University this winter delved into the challenges and opportunities that older adults are facing as their demographic grows in our city. These stories complicate the narrative about what it means to be “old” and highlight stories that are often overlooked.

Special thanks to Jocelyn Rempel, chair in older adult health and associate professor at Mount Royal University, who supported our students and faculty throughout the term.
