Corey Mace joins the show to talk CFL football

On this week’s edition of the pod, The SPORTS Podcast talked CFL football. You’ll hear the hosts make their Grey Cup predictions and a couple of bold guesses about what to expect in the league this year.

We had Calgary Stampeders defensive lineman Corey Mace, join us to talk some Stampeder pigskin, and find out what he is up to in the community.

Listen in to hear his thoughts on the upcoming CFL season and what he thinks about the Stamps being at the top of the list when it comes to the off-season CFL power rankings.

With an injury history such as Mace’s, we ask him how he feels about the CFL’s concussion policy and how they are protecting players’ post-playing lives.

He also played college ball south of the border with the Wyoming Cowboys for two seasons. We chat with him about how he feels about some NCAA athletes being paid to play for certain schools.

And then, as usual, we have a little fun with Corey as we put him in the hot seat and throw some rapid-fire questions at him. You will find out what his first car was and what kind of beverage he likes to enjoy after a big game, so listen in!
