The Year of the Snake started on January 29th, 2025. The Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre held a lunar festival on Jan. 25-26 and Feb. 1-2 to celebrate the new year with festivities and wish good fortune to businesses and the people of Calgary’s Chinatown.
The festival hosted local businesses and vendors selling Chinese goodies alongside live performances.
