In early February, Annick Sampson represented Glenmore Gymnastics Club at the annual Ed Vincent Invitational held in Calgary at the Seven Chiefs.

This was her first competition of the season.

Sampson competed at the Ed Vincent Invitational hosted by Altadore Gymnastics Club.

Family and friends gathered together at the Seven Chiefs venue to watch Glenmore Gymnastics Club and other clubs in the province compete at the XCEL gold level.

Every year, Annick receives gifts from the competitions she attends. This year, the Ed Vincent Invitational gave leotards to each athlete who participated in the competition.  PHOTO: ALEXANDRA VASQUEZ

It wasn’t very lucky that the heaters in the Seven Chiefs shut down, but Annick’s blanket that she made during the COVID-19 pandemic kept them warm in between rotations. PHOTO: ALEXANDRA VASQUEZ
