Love Is in the Air: An Open Mic Night brought together local performers and community members earlier this month at Grace Presbyterian Church in southwest Calgary—an evening of poetry, music, and inclusivity.
The free event, hosted and headlined by none other than Métis musician Wendy Walker, took place in the church’s sanctuary.
A wide range of local talent was showcased in an intimate, warm setting.
Organized by Grace Presbyterian Church, the open mic aimed to create a low-pressure space where people with different skills could connect through a shared medium that encompassed creativity, expression, and community.
