Mount Royal University’s Afro-Caribbean Club hosted its Black History Month Entertainment Showcase at Wyckham House in late February.

The event was organized to honour Black History Month and celebrate black culture through performance and creativity.

Student performers and community members gathered dancers and musical artists to perform at the event.

Their performances energized the entire building.

The main floor was packed, and even from the second level, people crowded the railings, leaning over for a better view.

Throughout the night, the audience cheered loudly after every performance, creating an atmosphere of pride and unity.

The showcase highlighted talent within the community and provided a space to recognize cultural expression.
