Despite the hot and smoky weather conditions, the Calgary Folk Fest drew in thousands of visitors each day to celebrate its 47th edition of the music festival.

Over 68 unique musical performances were scattered around seven stages during the four-day event, offering a diverse range of genres throughout the Prince’s Island Park festival grounds.
Thundercat, Of Monsters and Men, Corb Lund, and Killer Mike & the Mighty Midnight Revival were among the featured artists at the festival’s main stage, drawing in thousands of listeners each night.

Dozens of food and drink kiosks were also stationed in the park, along with local artisan craft and clothing stalls.
Visitors were urged to stay hydrated during their stay at the event, with temperatures peaking at 32 C throughout the festival days, with Environment Canada issuing a yellow warning for the air quality due to the ongoing amounts of wildfire smoke coming from British Columbia.
