Happy December!

We’re thrilled to share some exciting highlights from last week’s events hosted by the Journal.

Thank you to everyone who attended – it’s important to us to grow with the community and delve into the topics that matter most to you.

To start, our advanced reporting class took the lead in organizing the Journal’s first student housing forum on Nov. 27 — an event that proved successful and meaningful. If you haven’t had the chance to read over coverage, you can find it here.

Shout-out to fourth-year journalism students, Anjolie Therien, David Kim, Qassim Merali, Matthew Loewen, Marco Palomino, Marius Pintea and Zach Payne for organizing the forum.

Additionally, our senior editors, Matt Demille and Matt Loewen, put together an intriguing sports media panel for the communications program, enlightening everyone interested in this fast-paced industry.
