Every year, PetSmart hosts a trick-or-treat event for the furry kids, but this year the pet superstore chain expanded the fun by introducing a new event called Meet the Spooky Pets.

Snakes, lizards and insects may make some people squirm, but PetSmart’s event aims to show visitors what makes these creatures unique.

The free in-store experience gives families an opportunity to get familiar with specialty pets and learn about their daily care and behaviour from PetSmart associates.

From curious onlookers to close-up encounters, the event captures a different side of the animals, one that encourages curiosity over fear.
