Some voting stations to stay open late after delayed start

by Sierra Kaliel 1 day agoOctober 19, 2026

CBC news is reporting that some voting stations will stay open past 8 p.m. tonight. This is because some of the polling stations were not open by their scheduled opening time of 9 a.m.

Elections Alberta said they will provide a full list of stations that will be opened past 8 p.m. later today.

Calgary Journal reporters said that École Sainte-Marguerite-Bourgeoys opened about 15 minutes late this morning.
