Thousands of Calgary brides-to-be attend bridal show
Calgary women eagerly lined up Jan. 13 to take in Bridal Fantasy: The Boutique Bridal Show, held at the Calgary Telus Convention Centre.
Experts doled out advice on flowers, cake and body care products. They also shared tips on picking out the perfect wedding dress.
Dress styles included sweetheart necklines, A-line cuts, over-the-shoulder designs, and some conservative fashion choices.

Guest speaker Renee Strauss, star of the reality TV show Brides of Beverly Hills, offered expert advice on how to “walk up the aisle and show off your waistline.”
Strauss said many brides hold their bouquets in such a way that hides the waistline. She advised them to extend their arms downward while still holding their bouquets.
Strauss said she understands what brides go through which is why she takes time outof her busy schedule to attend bridal fairs.
“Bridal shows are a fantastic opportunity to see all the things that are available to you,” she said.
