Through Their Eyes is a video series that examines federal election issues from the perspective of real people. We’ve paired Calgarians from different backgrounds to explain their points of view on the issues that matter to them. It’s not an interview or a debate, it’s a conversation, and the Calgary Journal invites you to join in.

Part 1 of our series features Rohan Singh, an IT professional in the oil and gas industry and father of two young children. He spoke to Delilah Asrat, an 18-year-old first-time voter and open studies student at the University of Calgary. The pair had never met before we sat them down together, but found common ground in their discussion on post-secondary education.
