70,000 students registered and voted at Canadian university and college polling sites


The numbers are trickling in with respect to how Canadian youth participated in the Oct. 19 federal election. Early indications show more young people arrived at the polls than the last federal election. The Calgary Journal gathered feedback about youth participation by sifting through reaction on social media sites and by interviewing a policy studies expert.
