Even Wayne Gretzky impeded by changes to government policy

More than a million Canadians living abroad were banned from exercising their vote from afar during the Oct. 19 federal election. A relatively new law that was ushered in by the ousted Harper government prevented expats from voting unless they travelled home to do so. The Calgary Journal combed through social media sites seeking feedback.
