Making of a conservative
Derek Fildebrandt, Wildrose MLA for Strathmore-Brooks, is known for his unapologetic and assertive opinions.
The most recent example of his overbearing demeanor came in a reaction to Donald Trump’s U.S. presidential election when Fildebrandt tweeted, “Hyper-sensitive, politically-correct, victim-as-virtue culture is creating a leadership class of wimps. People are sick of it.”
His tweets have become a saving grace for some and have grossly offended others but how did this conservative become a conservative?
