On Friday March 15, students joined the Calgary Climate Hub in a march to protest climate change. The group stood outside of city hall shouting, “Come outside!” People of many different ages participated in the march, and some carried signs advocating for renewable energy and saving the planet.

Students from around the globe participated in the “school strike” for climate change. The inspiration for these rallies was Greta Thunberg, a 16-year-old activist from Sweden.
