Plain of the Six Glaciers, mountain climb from MRU Journalism on Vimeo.
During the Heritage Day long weekend, myself and two family members decided to go for a road cruise out of town.
After watching a few clips from Justice League featuring the Flash, Batman and their allies from On Demand, we were on a roll out the door.
Under clear blue skies, the drive was about two hours west of the city, a little past Banff.
We made it to the Lake Louise ski resort, where the glaciers are located. Luckily enough, my cousin Mitchell Poundmaker was there before so he was familiar with the resort and the lake in front of it.
After some breaks, we began the climb, going up a few hundred metres in elevation through mostly rocks. The scenic views at the top of the mountain trails were well worth the workout.
