Summer is on its way out and that means festival season is disappearing along with it. While many in the Calgary area can take to travelling quite far to make it out to their event of choice, you don’t always have to leave the city for the full festival experience.

Taken place in Shaw Millenium Park on Sept. 13 and 14, Circle Carnival is typically one of the last outdoor music events that Calgarians will take part in. The event features two stages, food trucks, rogue circus performers and shows by Western Canada based performance troupes Bass Caravan and Circus Acts Insomniacs.
