The Calgary Hitmen withstood a highlight-reel goal from Regina Pats star Connor Bedard to beat the visitors last month at the Saddledome.

The snipe from the 16-year-old phenom is already being touted as a candidate for goal of the year but it wasn’t enough, as the Hitmen won in overtime 5-4 on Feb. 6.
