Protestors gathered at city hall on Jan. 28 to support Palestine and call for an immediate cease fire in Gaza.
The gathering has become a weekly event since Israel began bombing the Palestinian territory in response to Hamas’s attacks on Oct. 7.
In Calgary, protesters lined the streets with signs and waved flags, creating a colourful display of solidarity with Palestine’s identity and resistance. Protestors shared discontent with the media coverage of the conflict, advocating for a more unbiased view.
