Calgarians woke up to heavy snowfall Wednesday morning with temperatures plummeting roughly 20 degrees from the weekend. The city is expected to see a total of 10-20 centimetres over the next three days.

The weather is causing disruptions with public transit and roads, with some bus stops temporarily closed and others rerouting their services. According to 511 Alberta, roads in the central and south zones are seeing high volumes of snow-covered roads, with snowplows currently designated for each region. Calgary Police Services are reminding residents to slow down, provide ample space between vehicles, and remain cautious while on bridges or at intersections.
