The end of Halloween means the end of Pumpkins After Dark, an annual celebration featuring nearly 10,000 carved pumpkins.

From re-creations of movie characters and locations to carvings of classic Halloween figures, this year’s festival carried a variety of pumpkins for everyone to enjoy. The celebration ran at Winsport from Sept. 20 to Oct. 31, and featured carvings, live performances and lights for visitors to enjoy.

One display of pumpkins featured the hit musical Beetlejuice. Another display showed a cacophony of pumpkins carved with stars over top of the pathway. Fall-themed treats like popcorn, hot-dogs, cotton candy and various beverages such as coffee and lattes were available to enjoy.

The award-winning festival debuted in Calgary in the last five years, but has expanded across the country and into the United States.
