The Mount Royal University Cougars and MacEwan University Griffins met for a couple of volleyball matches on Feb. 1. The games took place on the Kenyon Court at Mount Royal University. The women’s match began at 5 p.m., with a recorded attendance of 180.

The Cougars swept the Griffins in three sets to win the game 3-0. The men’s match began at 7 p.m. in front of 269 fans. The Griffins took the first two sets, but the Cougars battled back and won the next two. The Griffins defeated the Cougars in the final set, winning the game three to two.
