From the wedding aisles to Arctic ice fields, smartphones continue to transform what significant moments look like.

What once demanded bulky cameras or full production crews can now be documented with a device most people carry in their pocket.

Calgary content creator and business owner Jana Janevska built her company, Wedding Day Bestie, around the idea that an iPhone can document weddings in a way that feels personal and candid.

“I really love capturing and documenting life,” said Janevska in an interview with the Calgary Journal.

Meanwhile, adventurer Ian Sherrington relied solely on his iPhone to film a 600-kilometre ski crossing of Greenland in -35°C winds.

“I never thought that I could piece that together into something that would be professional. And yet somehow it worked,” said Sherrington.
