The anatomy of addiction: An in-depth look at dependence, relapse and recovery

Addiction is one of the most prevalent issues in today’s society. In the first six months of 2020 there were 449 opioid-related deaths, meaning that on average, 2.5 Albertans died each day from unintentional opioid overdoses.
