Meals on Wheels Cookie Decorating

‘Tis the season to be jolly and the season to give back. Do both with this cookie decorating event organized by Calgary Meals on Wheels, a non-profit organization that provides quality and affordable meals to those who stuggle with getting them.

This year, they have a goal of raising $16,000, which would feed over 6,500 of their clients. To do so, they’ll be on the lower lever of Southcentre Mall, near RW&CO, at their Cookie Kitchen. They will be handing out cookie kits with icing, pre-made cookies and decorations for you to get hands-on either on-site or at home in exchange of a donation. $2 per cookie is the suggested amount.

The cookies are made by local vendor Bakeri By Jess.

You can help out either by volunteering or crafting your own cookie creations. Either way, it is a great way to make fun memories and helps others, fulfilling Meals on Wheels mission to build a stronger, caring community and promote health and independence.
