Guitar Church promotes group music lessons with religious undertones

Every Saturday morning at 10 a.m., people of all ages go to the Christian Life Assembly in Calgary’s southwest for Guitar Church.
The program was initially developed to promote group guitar lessons instead of the traditional one-on-one session. Jim Rainbow has been playing the guitar for years and runs the Calgary program; it’s available to people of any skill level.
Produced by Clayton Goodwin.
Each week will include a different head-instructor to offer a variety of different styles to the students. During the lesson, there are a number of different coaches that cater to all of the students at different skill levels. There is an opening prayer but people who don’t practice Christianity are still encouraged to join.
